Designed for students planning to pursue a professional career in Interior Design, our NASAD accredited program aspires to excellence in teaching and instruction understanding the rigors of an ever-changing industry. We offer our students the highest standards of academic quality in interior design education allowing them to launch a successful career leading to NCIDQ certification.
The program emphasizes a three-dimensional architecture-based approach to examine, understand and create unique, humane, ecologically sensitive solutions for various types of environments. Students are encouraged to develop their own individual approach to solving design problems that meet their client’s aesthetic and functional needs. Contemporary issues such as sustainability, health and life safety codes, universal design and the latest AutoCad and BIM software technology are used throughout the curriculum.
Skills such as drafting, space planning construction methods, lighting, history, theory and research, material application, sustainability, and presentation methods are just the beginning of what students will engage with throughout their academic journey. Individual attention, small class sizes, and collaboration are fundamentals within the program.
